Canine Hypothyroidism: Anything New?

You are here: Home / Scotiadawg News / Canine Hypothyroidism: Anything New?
November 1, 2020 by The Scotia Kennel

Enormous kudos to Dr. Robin K. Nelson on this outstanding article on the questions and importance of immune-mediated thyroid disease in our breed (or any breed, for that matter)… as a long-time, vocal (ok, rabid) advocate for the importance of testing our breeding dogs for this insidious disease (and removing affected animals from the breeding program) I am deeply impressed by the depth, readability and take-aways Robin provided here.

I learned a great deal on a topic I thought I knew reasonably well … Thank you, Robin, for your passionate dedication to our breed ??? If you aren’t a member of the GWPCA, this article alone is worth the annual membership dues. You can join today at www.gwpca.com.
