Katie\, in addition to her skills as a Master Breeder\, is an AKC judge\, and delegate and was a member of the last BCOA-approved trip to Africa to import dogs from their native land to improve the health and genetic diversity of the breed. Katie has generously agreed to share her experiences traveling internationally in pursuit of perfection in purebred dogs.

PayPal: laura@puredogtalk.com\nThe cost covers the instructor’s fee and lunch. $75/per person.\n\nAbout the instructor:\nJulia Valencia\, (Elegant Brute) a northwest native\, is an accomplished\, well-respected law enforcement officer and trainer. She is a premier defensive tactic and combative instructor who provides training at local police agencies\, and the police academy\, and even instructs security teams outside the USA. She has instructed defensive tactics to hundreds of police recruits and is an active regional police instructor in both the Defensive Tactics and Less Lethal Munitions Cadres. Julia was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2016 for her instruction in tactical training and self-defense. Julia is the only female primary instructor for the nationally known defensive tactics training group ARRESTLING and a lead instructor for Next Level Training (SIRT).  In 2018 she was recognized locally\, earning the title of “Officer of the Year”. Julia is currently assigned as a Corporal in the ProAct Unit\, a plain-clothes covert operations unit. She was the first woman motorcycle officer with her agency as well.
